MICHAEL MEDICO tells everyone he's from Philadelphia... which always proves embarrassing when the person told inevitably asks: "Where in Philly?" and he must admit that he's actually from Wilmington, Delaware... Meh.
Michael currently lives in Los Angeles. He wrote and directed the short "Bitch." for a friend's Oscar Party "extra short" competition and now it has gone on to receive much attention on the festival circuit and was named best short film of 2009 in Frontiers LA magazine. His second film "Power Play" was a finalist in the 60oneminutes.org competition. He is also the creator and director of A2IM's anti-piracy campaign entitled "Stealing Sucks." Michael has recently wrapped two viral promos for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, one of which, "Miss March Mishap," received over a million hits in under a month. He currently has over a half dozen other shorts, music videos and commercial projects in development that he will direct as well as creating and directing a web series starring Michaela Watkins, Holland Taylor, Ari Graynor, and Tim Curry set in launch in early in 2012.
Before directing Michael spent many years in NYC and LA as an actor. His television credits include: Grey's Anatomy, House, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Threshold, Frasier, Will & Grace, Sex and the City, Law & Order: SVU, Roswell, Angel, and others that were on the air so briefly you wouldn't even remember them. His film credits include: Going Down in LA-LA Land, Kiss the Bride and Life's Too Good. And he's done a million commercials.

Michael received a BFA and a 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award from Boston University and attended the British American Drama Academy. He is also the creator and executive producer of HOT IN HOLLYWOOD a celebrity-driven benefit that has raised more than half a million dollars in three years for domestic and international AIDS organizations.
